Keweenaw County- gorgeous new ADA accessible ground floor South Room in Ahmeek

8/10 Good
"Comfy bed all amenities kitchen. Nice central location for our travels & pet friendly. Only downside, it’s connected to an ice cream shop. Every time we left our parking spot was taken. Simple solution put up signs. Not good especially keeping a dog from excited children & detached patents. In all our traveling we’ve never had to police parking @ rented homes or hotels."

Serene Lake Superior Escape Beachfront Getaway or Snowy Ski Retreat

Serene Lake Superior Escape Beachfront Getaway or Snowy Ski Retreat

10/10 Excellent
"We had the pleasure of meeting the husband wife, cleaning team who take care of this property. Very kind people and they do an excellent job. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. The home is just as presented. It has an outstanding view of Lake Superior as well as beach access. I guess the only thing I would caution is that if somebody has mobility issues getting down to the beach would be challenging. But once you are down there, you can walk in both directions. We met lovely people as we walked. At night, we attempted to find some of the glowing rocks. We had no luck because we really didn’t know what we were doing, but we did pass a young man who had found one small, glowing rock, and he very kindly shared it with us so we could see firsthand what they look like aglow! Very cool. The property is conveniently located so that one can explore all that the northern and western parts that the Keweenaw Peninsula has to offer and returned home to make supper and enjoy a bonfire. The lapping of the waves is so soothing. Our extended weekend retreat was over way too quickly. Our hosts were great communicators. They sent the right information at the right time and answered any queries quickly. Highly recommend."

Keweenaw Vacation Rental - Great for families and groups- sleeps up to 7

10/10 Excellent
"Very cute, clean and conveniently located. The ice cream shop downstairs was a delight and the staff very helpful and friendly. The apt is right off M41 so traffic is loud during the day, (we were there in July) but everything else was as expected and our stay was great. Thank you."

"This place is a great launching-pad for many adventures on the Keweenaw Peninsula! Our family enjoyed the views overlooking Lake Superior, playing cornhole and pool (billiards in the garage), and sweating in the sauna."

Cute Waterfront House on Lake Superior

Cute Waterfront House on Lake Superior

10/10 Excellent
"The location was perfect for us. We were central enough to visit every where we wanted to go, The beach was in walking distance, but also provides parking if you drive down. This vacation was just two adults and two dogs. The house was a perfect size for us. Listening to the waves crash was very relaxing! We cooked most of our meals at the house. Everything we needed to prepare our meals was provided for convenience.I would recommend this location to others. The house was clean, view was great, and the host was very easy to communicate with."
